A Website Can Be A Personal Communication Tool

A website gives you the ability to put up information once and allow everyone to review it at their leisure. Family connections and vacation photos/stories are examples of this kind of individual communication. People from all over the world can share your latest adventure almost as soon as you live it.

Mike Dorough
Mike's Memories
Mike is a friend who suffered a severe stroke on 29 April 2008. He was expected to die; he didn't, but he was not able to come home for almost a year.
His website is something that helps him remember his life and it is also a way for him to express the faith that has carried him through this ordeal. His friends are able to stay in contact with him and also to follow his progress in overcoming the damage the stroke caused.

CJ and Olivia
When CJ and Olivia got married they wanted a place to give everyone all the information they needed to get to the wedding - a website provided the perfect vehicle. Afterwards, they were then able to share all the marriage pictures and give distant friends and relatives a chance to see all they missed. Now they have started a family and they are using the website to get all their new experiences and baby pictures out to all interested friends and family.
This use of the internet as a personal scrapbook is becoming quite common. A site is not expensive and you don't have to worry which relative you missed with pictures and information. On the other hand - people can view as much - or as little - information as they want to.
